Art Lotti
Owner & Operations
I’m proud to be a local Bay Area business owner who is both efficient and someone you can counton. My goal is always to go above and beyond for my customers, especially during times when they need it most. This business was born from my love of helping people navigate and plan for life’s challenging transitions, shaped by the experiences I’ve had along the way.
Before starting this venture, I spent nearly 20 years managing a busy Trader Joe’s store. In that role, I worked with a diverse group of customers and employees, balancing multiple projects simultaneously. This experience naturally prepared me for the demands of our business now, where every situation requires compassionate problem-solving and innovative, outside-the-box thinking.
A Bay Area native, I was born in San Francisco and have always had a deep love for and commitment to supporting my local community. Outside of work, Andriana and I are proud parents a blended family of six children. We enjoy family time and the many meaningful moments we share. There’s always something to celebrate!
I’m a lifelong Bay Area sports fan, I’m always cheering for my Giants, 49ers, and Warriors. Whether it’s at home, at work, or in the stands, my goal is to stay connected to the community that shaped me.
Andriana Mendez, CSA®
Owner & Community Events
I joined this business alongside Art, bringing a background in graphic design and marketing — and a passion for helping people. Like Art, I’m deeply committed to providing exceptional service and being part of a business you can trust to be honest, respectful, and reliable. While Art spends much of his time in the field, I focus on marketing, networking, and community events. I also serve as a connector to other local services related to our work, which I am truly passionate about.
Born in Berkeley and raised in the Easy Bay Area, I’ve lived here my entire life, building a network and crafting a career centered around creating meaningful experiences. I founded Sensational Seniors™, the educational branch of our business, with a mission to empower seniors and their loved ones with the knowledge and resources they need to lead happy, fulfilling lives while aging in place or making home transitions.
Whether I’m sipping from my favorite coffee mug filled with a local brew, being creative with interior decor, or running our youngest daughter between sports, I’m always thinking of ways to make meaningful connections and bring people together!
Fabian Hernandez
Project Lead
I joined Custom Moving Solutions in 2019 and have learned that no two moves are ever the same. I was born and raised in San Francisco, and I enjoy meeting new people and helping them get settled so their space starts to feel like home again. I try to keep things straightforward and steady, especially during what can be a stressful time, and focus on making the process feel a little easier from start to finish.
Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate how much a move can represent for someone. Whether it’s a fresh start or a big life transition, I take that seriously and do my best to show up with patience, consistency, and a hands-on approach.
Outside of work, I like staying active at the gym and playing pickleball, and I’m a big fan of the Giants and 49ers. I also enjoy getting out and exploring different areas we travel to for jobs. One day, I’d like to go skydiving and finally check that off my list.
Emily Vandever
Marketing & Communications Coordinator
I joined Custom Moving Solutions in 2025 as an assistant, bringing a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and a passion for supporting both the team and our clients. Born and raised in the Bay Area, I take pride in being part of a company that helps our community through important life transitions. I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Art & Technology and a minor in Business, bringing a creative background in graphic design and marketing that supports both the operational and client-facing side of the business.
In addition to my role at Custom Moving Solutions, I also serve as an assistant for Sensational Seniors, where I help support community events and educational initiatives for older adults and their families. Having grown up very close to my grandparents and now helping care for my grandfather as he ages in place, I have a deep appreciation for the needs of seniors and the importance of compassionate, thoughtful support. This personal and professional experience fuels my passion for helping others navigate life transitions with care and confidence.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time outdoors hiking, and exploring new local restaurants and coffee shops throughout the Bay Area.
